We have a dog that can be a handful at times with reactivity & resource guarding among other issues. We adore him, but we needed to learn how to best assist him through these issues to ensure he has a balanced life. We met Christian through dog training, & he has become family to us. Not only did he teach us & Lokum so much on dog training & dog psychology, he truly has become a part of our pack. There is no one I trust more than Christian with my dog. The moment Christian walks in, Lokum lights up & you can feel the energy shift in the room.
I sincerely believe there isn’t a single dog that would not benefit from spending time with Christian. His confidence, knowledge, approach as well as personality makes Christian such a gem. In my opinion, what makes Christian stand out from other trainers is that he changes his approach depending on the situation. What I’ve seen from other trainers is a one-size-fits-all treatment for all dogs they work with. I’ve seen Christian with my dog, my mom’s dog, as well as other dogs & each time, I notice how different he is with each one. His patience & his confidence travels through to the dogs he works with & it truly is like witnessing magic the moment Lokum gets together with Christian.
He is also a fantastic communicator & always keeps me in the loop when I leave Lokum with him. I do not once have to ask him anything because Christian keeps me in the loop at all times. Having a dog has been one of the biggest joys of my life, but learning how to help my dog have a balanced & happy life was a huge part of this & we could not have done it without Christian. We are so grateful to have met Christian!

Dogs’ Names: Mallory & Alice
We started working with Christian to walk our dog, Alice, that pulled terribly. Alice was also scared of her own shadow. We had such a fast experience & Alice was walking nicely right away.
We soon got a puppy, a German Shepherd Belgian Malinois mix, Mallory. Mallory proved to be a lot more than we realized. I was unsure of myself walking both dogs & Mallory was very high energy. After a few sessions I was able to confidently walk both dogs with no pulling & limited reactions to anything that we might encounter on our walks. We definitely had a lot of crossroads with Mallory. We also tried a board & train with Mallory. It was a waste of money.
We were grateful to have Christian a phone call away. He was a huge help to us & we couldn’t be more thankful.
Christian has a patience & a presence about him that puts dogs at ease. They trust him. We trust him. We would not be as confident with our dogs without him.
We unfortunately have moved out of state, but we have called Christian for help. We love that he is always willing to help us.

I found Christian when I was looking for some help with my reactive dog. Christian was great at explaining the why a dog reacts & responds before teaching how to change the behavior. He taught me how to speak dog language. Christian built my confidence up on really understanding body language with dogs. I also foster dogs from a local shelter & with the help of Christian we were able to work on behavior modifications on some more difficult dogs. The dogs were adopted into loving homes. Christian was always willing to help any way he can & very flexible with schedule. I totally recommend Christian to help your dog & also to help you really understand dogs’ language & needs.

Dog Name: Harper
I have a standard poodle named Harper, & I was always having the same problems with her. I started out with group training classes & then ended up hiring a very expensive dog trainer to do “in home” training. After both of those, we still continued to struggle.
My daughter followed Christian Rieman on Facebook. She suggested I watch some of his informative videos & possibly connect with him.
I contacted Christian & within that same week he came out to our house to help us. We showed Christian how afraid Harper was to walk up our stairs. Christian came up with an easy solution & after a couple weeks of practice, Harper continues to confidently go up & down our stairs.
Christian also came up with a better solution when walking Harper on a leash outside. We were struggling. Harper would pull me & she would be basically walking me!
Christian quickly identified that I felt anxious because I was not in control of my dog or the situation.
We practiced calming techniques & different ways to make myself feel confident & comfortable. By doing those things, Harper was able to learn from my actions & act appropriately!
Christian is compassionate about helping people & dogs! He explains how & why something should be done or changed. He also thinks outside the box & understands that not every person or every dog is the same.
I also feel confident that I could reach back out to Christian at any time & he would be willing to help find us a solution!
